The Hub
The Hub is Peninsula Poverty Response’s mobile response unit, created to meet urgent needs of community members facing hardship. Our Program Navigator evaluates each request and helps connect people to critical services like food assistance, public health care, and transportation help with fuel or bus passes. For those sleeping outdoors, The Hub supplies tents, sleeping bags, warm clothing, and other essentials and can even provide Discover Passes so people can access hot showers.
By bringing these resources directly to those who need them most, The Hub offers immediate relief and a pathway to stability with dignity and compassion.

In addition to our propane events designed to provide essential heating and cooking fuel assistance, Peninsula Poverty Response is committed to ensuring community safety. We also offer a vital service to exchange unsafe or deteriorating propane tanks for safe, functional ones. Furthermore, we can replace out-of-code valves on existing tanks, making sure your equipment complies with current safety regulations and operates reliably. These efforts are part of our dedication to providing low-barrier, immediate assistance while prioritizing the well-being of our community members.
